Things to know about working in Kimbolton
The High Street and the area around the castle are a conservation area with a lot of listed buildings. Solar panels and outdoor air conditioning units on those houses need consent from Huntingdonshire District Council, and we have done that paperwork before, so ask before assuming it cannot be done. On the newer estates off Stow Road and the Thrapston Road side, solar is permitted development and air conditioning almost always is.
Several of the larger houses in the village have three phase supplies. That changes the inverter, the export application to UK Power Networks and sometimes the battery, so it is worth telling us at the quote stage.
